    In the wake of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, the music community has stepped up its efforts to receive financial assistance from MusiCares and other forms of monetary and emotional support. There are also a growing number of benefit concerts in California and across the United States, the proceeds of which are donated to those affected by disasters. This is a running list.

    Tunes for Tomorrow: Music Fundraiser
    Time and place: January 14th – Los Angeles @ Hotel Café
    line-up: Xan Thomas, Sasha Carlson, Stella Cole, Return to Dust, Gonzalo Martin, Kate Grann, Zion Gill and Halle Powers
    Lucas Flood turned his usual “Not Another Showcase” into a musical event to raise funds for the victims of the Los Angeles fires. Flood said the money raised from the event will be donated to “a family who has lost everything and is under their fundraising goal.”

    Fire Rescue Picolandia
    Time and place: January 18 — Pico Rivera, CA @ Pico Rivera Stadium
    line-up: To be announced
    The Pico Rivera Stadium in Pico Rivera, California, has become a temporary shelter for horses and large livestock displaced after the fire. On Saturday, January 18, the venue, which is the headquarters for lovers of Spanish music in the region, will host 15 Latin artists from the banda, nortenho and tambaraso genres.

    9th Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala
    Time and place: January 22 — Anaheim, CA @ Grand Theater
    line-up: Poison drummer Rikki Rockett, Kill Devil Hill, Chris Polish and Jeff Young (ex-Megadeth), Albis, Wicked
    The stunning Metal Hall of Fame Gala centered around a fundraising telethon to raise money for those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. Eddie Trunk and Cathy Rankin hosted the event, which included all-star impromptu performances and surprise guests.

    Time and place: January 26 — Brooklyn, NY @ Cassette
    line-up: Palehound,Beck Zegans of Goo,Marem Ladson
    Brooklyn club Cassette will host an indie lineup featuring Palehound, Beck Zegans of Goo and Marem Ladson to raise funds for the victims of the Los Angeles fires on Sunday, January 26th.

    I Love Los Angeles: New York City Band for Los Angeles Fire Rescue
    Time and place: January 27-29 — New York @ Bowery Electric, Heaven Can Wait, Berlin
    line-up: Gift, Ginger Winn, Patton Magee from Naked Party, Laura Jean Anderson, Austin Royale, Discovery Zone, 95 Bulls
    On the other side of the country, in Manhattan, three New York clubs will take part in three days of benefit concerts, from Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th January. Participating artists include Gift, Ginger Winn, Patton Magee of garage rock band Nude Party, and more.

    Time and place: January 30 — Inglewood, CA @ Intuit Dome
    line-up: To be announced
    “FireAid” is scheduled for Thursday, January 30, at the 18,000-seat Intuit Dome in Los Angeles' Inglewood neighborhood and is presented by AEG, the Irving Azoff Family and Live Nation. The lineup has yet to be announced, but is sure to include many of pop's most influential acts.

    Time and place: February 8 – Los Angeles @Beehive
    line-up: Slum Village, Frank-N-Dank, Guilty Simpson, Phat Kat, Lootpack's Wild Child, Shortkut, Daru Jones, The Beat Junkies' J. Rocc
    The annual performance in honor of J. Dilla, hosted by J. Dilla's mother, Ma Dukes, is now a benefit for the victims of the Eaton fire. The lineup for Saturday, February 8, at the Beehive (961 E. 61st Street) includes names like Slum Village and Frank-N-Dank.
