In an interview, he played the “Gent's Talk” podcast originally recorded in November 2024, and Baldoni can be seen getting excited when he discussed some of the issues he had encountered over the past year.
“I spent a year,” he explained in an interview he sneakily shared with Instagram. “I sent a text message this morning.”

When the podcast promoted the episode on social media, it explained that the interview was held in November and was part of a “end with us” press conference. Baldoni talks about the detailed description of “movies, domestic violence, relationships with fathers, mental health, marriage and masculinity”.
His interview is scheduled to air on Monday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
Although Baldoni did not explicitly mention Blake Lively or “It Ends With Us” during the editing, the interview was just a month ago when Lively filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department A month before. Not long after, she filed a lawsuit against him in federal court.

Earlier this month, a pretrial hearing was held in which lively and Bardoni's lawyers were ordered to comply with New York's rules of professional conduct that restricted speech to the media. Neither party will be allowed to speak to the press, i.e., prejudice against jury is “very likely”. However, the legal team will be allowed to defend clients in the media to prevent publicity not created by both parties.
The trial date is scheduled for March 2026.
