Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has banned the military to allow trans people to join the military later last week after President Donald Trump’s instructions.
“Effective, and new additions to all those with a history of gender irritability have been suspended,” the memorandum signed by the Defense Secretary, dated February 7 said.
“All planned, unplanned or planned medical procedures related to the recognition or promotion of gender transition for service members have been ceased.”
The memorandum also said that gender-irritated service members “voluntarily serve our country and will be treated with dignity and respect.”
However, the memorandum is unclear what happens to people in the military at present and determines that unlike the gender assigned at birth, delegates responsibility to a secretary who does not belong to the personnel and prepares to provide policies for active service members with gender dysphagia. and implementation guidelines.

“I think the stupidest phrase in military history is, ‘Our diversity is our strength.’ I think our strength is our solidarity,” he said.
“No matter how we grow, no matter our gender, no matter our race, we will judge you based on your strengths and your commitment to your team and mission.”
Late last month, the Pentagon announced several months of identity month, including Black History Month and Women’s History Month, “dead” within the Department of Defense and said that resources would not be used to celebrate them.
An executive order signed by Trump last month asked Hergs to update medical standards to ensure they “prioritize preparation and lethality” and take action to “end the use of pronouns invented and identified within the Department of Defense.”
It says that expressing a “gender identity” at birth that is different from an individual's gender does not meet military standards.
The order also limits sleep, alteration and bathing facilities through biology. This is not an immediate ban, but an instruction from the Secretary to implement such policies.
