Peter Dutton confirmed that he did not think there was no need for a welcome national ceremony on ANZAC DAY DAYN SERCVEN and commercial flights, continuing to spark a cultural war in the last week of the campaign.

A few days later, the neo-Nazi smelled a welcome rural ceremony at a dawn service in Melbourne.

Dutton re-condemned those extremist protests Monday, calling the Anzac Day ceremony “sacred” rather than a place of booing, but repeatedly commented in a TV debate on Sunday night that the Aboriginal confirmed it to be “over the top.”

At his press conference, urging the Anzac Day ceremony to be welcomed, Dutton replied: “No, this is my answer.

“It is ultimately the decision of the various organizers in the event, and they can make decisions based on membership and what the board wants to do, and it's a decision for them, and I respect that,” Dutton said.

“Anzac Day is about our veterans…I think if you're listening to their point of view and we respect that sentiment on Anzac Day, I think most of the points are they didn't want it that day. But I think it's a personal decision for RSL.”

Dutton did not say how his perception of the “majority” of veterans was formed. Several media organizations mentioned an online survey conducted by news.com.au, an unscientific and unrepresentative selective vote, finding that 65% of the 50,000 respondents wanted a welcome to the country to end completely, and another 23% said they wanted fewer welcomes.

On April 15, Cairns RSL Sub Branch asked local state legislator Michael Healy not to acknowledge the state in his speech at Dawn Service.

“To defend (SIC) the will of our members, we would like to ask you to avoid including welcome countries in our Anzac Day Dawn Service’s speech,” said an email from Guardian Australia.

Contact RSL in Queensland for comment. It is not clear whether Healy was asked not to recognize the country, as the service was delivered earlier in the service. Healy was also contacted for comment.

In response to Dutton's remarks, the National RSL recommended Australia's Guardian to a suggestion on hosting the ANZAC Day service, which included “inclusive of the welcome of the country”. Also contacted for comments from RSL’s Victorian branch.

Labor Cabinet Secretary Jason Clare told Sunrise Monday morning that he hopes the issue won't become political football in the final days of the election.

“Remember all this where it started Friday. It stems from neo-Nazi actions, interrupting the actions of ANZAC DAY DAYN SERVICE. I don't think any of us want to have the same side as Neo Neo Nazis.”

Anthony Albanese said in seven debates on Sunday that it is up to individual organizations to decide whether to welcome the country’s welcome opening event, but pointed out that the ceremony is a “ matter of respect.” He noted that in New Zealand, the national anthem was sung in Maori and English.
