Democrats accused Trump of FBI of choosing Kash Patel to secretly order fire
The top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee has sent a letter to the Justice Department inspector, accusing President Trump of FBI Director Kash Patel of realizing any plans to do so.
“If these allegations are true, Mr. Patel may be disguised before the Senate Judiciary Committee,” D-ill. Senator Dick Durbin wrote.
Dobern said he had spoken with the whistleblower who told him that Patel had been relaying instructions to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, who then took Patel The instructions were conveyed to Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove.
“I received highly credible information from multiple sources, that Kash Patel personally directed the ongoing clearance of professional civil servants at the FBI,” Doubin wrote in the letter. “Although Patel did,” he said. Mr. Er is the nominee for President Trump as FBI Director, but he remains a private citizen and has no role in the administration.”
Durbin's letter was first reported by The New York Times, describing the day before Patel's confirmation hearing, Bove said Patel and Miller are pushing the FBI to shoot, just as the Justice Department has already happened.
Durbin apparently refers to Patel's abbreviation, which is obviously mentioned: “While meeting that morning noticed: 'KP hopes to act in the FBI, for the reciprocity of the Justice Department's actions. ”
In social media posts, Patel's spokesman Erika Knight did not directly tell Durbin's letter, but condemned what she called “false narrative.”
She wrote: “Kash Patel is a highly qualified national security expert who, in the process, is completely transparent with the American people and demonstrates the integrity and integrity required for this role and Leadership.” “The Senate should confirm him immediately.”
Dobern noted that at Patel's confirmation hearing on January 30, Senator Corey Booker, DN.J. Ask Patel (Yes or No) for the investigation.”
Patel replied that he “don’t know this.” Patel then added: “I don't know what's going on over there, but I'm committed to you, the Senator and your colleagues, and I will respect the FBI's internal review process.”
“All FBI employees will be protected by political retribution,” Patel also said at the hearing.

The next day, Acting FBI Director Brian Driscoll sent a memo to the entire FBI Workerce saying he had been removed from office by Bove, who Bove) served as Trump's defense attorney. Driscoll also said he was told to hand over the names of every FBI employee who was involved in the investigation by the rioters on January 6, which are thousands.
Driscoll rejected the Justice Department order, and he helped fire the Jan. 6 RIOT case, in a strong push, that some FBI officials feared he would be fired.
Continue to worry about mass shooting
The Trump administration also asked the FBI's field office and headquarters to prove that it continues to employ 3,600 bureau employees (about 10% of the FBI's workforce) who recently joined the bureau and therefore are on probation.
The FBI Agents Association, a group representing agents but not unions, said probation agents have received extensive training at the FBI Academy in Quantico. They said agents are already conducting active investigations and that mass dismissals could undermine them.
Natalie Bara, president of the FBI's Agents Association, said in an interview with NBC News that training agents cost hundreds of thousands of dollars from their initial application to their graduation from Quantico.
Barra said the agency needs to add 800 to 1,000 agents each year to replace them Retired agents, so a massive shooting would affect the agency for many years.
“It makes no sense to turn around, fire or fire an agent who has gone through this process.” Barra said.
The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on Patel's nomination on Thursday. It is unclear whether Dubin's claim of perjury will have an impact on Republican senators so far Unified defense Patel.
If his nomination is approved by the committee, the Senate will determine whether Patel is confirmed as a director of the FBI for 10 years.
