Bruce: 3 potential trade destinations for Braden Shinn

In the latest episode of the TSN Insider deal, NHL insider Darren Dreger reported that the team was interested in St. Louis Blues captain Brayden Schenn. He also added that he believes Bruce is testing Shinn's trade market.

It is important to note that Schenn has a complete no trade clause this season, so he will have to trade before the deadline. However, starting next season, it will be changed to 15 teams without trade.

With all this, let's take a look at three clubs if veterans are finally willing to change the scenery with deadlines.

    Toronto maple leaves

In his Schenn report, Dreger specifically mentioned Toronto Maple Leaf as an interested team. The leaves are always looking for help in the middle, which is completely understandable.

If Maple Leafs acquires Schenn, he could be the perfect addition to their third-tier center position and penalty kills. In addition, he will give them more bites, which Toronto can use in the playoffs.

    Detroit Red Wings

Detroit red wings may be another great option for Schenn. Like Toronto, Red Wings have been looking to improve its central depth. If they get Schenn, he will upgrade Andrew Copp in the 2C seat.

After winning seven games in a row, Red Wings are back in the playoff game and are available for purchase. It might make sense to add skilled veterans like Schenn to help them take the next step.

    New Jersey Devil

The devils of New Jersey have been seeking to improve their forward groups, so it would be understandable if Schenn caught their attention.

If the Devil landed on Sean, he might be the perfect addition to their third-line center position. The trio of Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier and Schenn will be deadly. Schenn will also bring another player in the Stanley Cup on his resume.
