Amazon has officially announced that Prime Day will pay off a huge amount this summer. The retailer mocked the upcoming shopping event online this week, which is scheduled to take place sometime in July 2025.

So far, Amazon has not officially revealed the specific dates for the upcoming shopping event, but if there are any signs from retailers’ previous sales, all signs point to all signs of Prime Day 2025, which lasts for a few days this summer.

Do you have to be a major member?

The short answer is that you don't have to have an Amazon Prime membership to enjoy discounts on your product during Amazon's Prime Day event, although only some discounts are available to members to save some extra cash.

Good news: You can sign up for a 30-day free Amazon Prime trial before committing to membership. Want to keep your plan? Prime membership costs $14.99 per month, or $139 per year. Another real benefit of getting a membership is that Prime members can also get free shipping on many products with subscriptions.

What is the best Amazon Golden Day deal?

Amazon said this summer’s prime day will include “the hottest brands, social trending items, creators’ favorites and discounts on Amazon’s exclusive products to make this July event more valuable to members.” While Amazon breaks the news that this July Golden Day will be coming again, shoppers will have to wait for months to find out exactly which products get discounts.

In the past, some of the best Golden Day deals included steep swings on steep headphones, Bluetooth earbuds, wireless speakers, fitness gear such as Pelotons and treadmills, and everything about many beauty products and outdoor gear, right in the summer.
