Harvey Weinstein’s defense team deployed a bullfighting lawyer Thursday, defending the infamous man trying to poke the testimony of a former “project runway” production assistant who accused the Hollywood tycoon of sexual assault twice.

When Miriam Haley picked up her stance on the third day, defense attorney Jennifer Bonjean was known for representing alleged sexual predators Bill Cosby and R. Kelly, who burned her into her jet lifestyle, which allowed her to enter celebrities like Weinstein.

During the inquiry, Bonjean told Haley that after she first filed the charge, she said that the Hollywood heavyweight had compulsive oral sex on her in June 2006, and then a month later, she raped her.

When Bonjean asked if she had told the press conference about the years after the 2006 2006 attacks, Bonjean asked her if she had a friendly email exchange with Weinstein, Haley said: “I told this part.”

A key detail of Haley's testimony on Wednesday was that during the time when Weinstein was allegedly beaten her in 2006. During Bonjean's inquiry, Haley said that when the defense attorney showed her calendar to Haley, she was granted her in 2006, sometimes her former assistant wrote “PP” on her calendar, which she received “Remembering” in 2006.

Haley testified that there was no “p” in the months of January, February and April, but “something in March may be 'P'.” She said she didn't always remember adding it to the calendar, and that she “skipped” her period for several months, adding that she had no clear memories of the cycle of that year.

Bonjean said in graphic details that when Haley told the court, Weinstein did not stop the court when she told him about her period during the first alleged attack.

Haley is expected to raise more questions about the alleged attack when the court resumes on Friday.

Last year, Weinstein was again tried last year in New York State Court of Appeals, which was convicted of sexually abused a young woman who defined the #MeToo movement and helped turn Oscar-winning producers into pariahs.

Bonjean was included in Weinstein's defensive team partly because she helped Cosby get overturned in 2021 for aggravated indecent assault. But after Friday, Bonjean will no longer represent Weinstein, as she must defend her at Brooklyn Court next week.

Weinstein was charged with a criminal sexual act on charges with Haley about his forced oral sex against her in June 2006.

Both women are part of Weinstein's first trial and Mann is expected to testify during the retrial.

The newbie who tried again was an additional charge of alleged criminal sexual acts on former Polish model Kaja Sokola.

Sokola claims in the lawsuit that when Weinstein gave her oral sex in 2006 without the consent of the Manhattan Hotel, she was only 16 years old. She is also expected to testify in Weinstein's retrial.

Weinstein, 73, denied attacking Hayley, Mann and Socora.

Prosecutors argue that Weinstein used his Hollywood influence to prey on young women like Hayley, who are looking for jobs in the television and film industry and silence them after alleged attacks.

Haley's testimony in the reprint is largely a recap of the testimony she provided in 2020, and he has testified that she contacted Weinstein because she hopes his help find a job. She also testified that she did not report the attack to police and did not keep in touch with Weinstein immediately after the attack because she was worried about what he would do to her career.

However, under Bonjean's inquiry, Haley admitted that Weinstein was not the first producer she received work contact. She said she had previously worked for British film and drama producer Michael White and had met many “A-listers” through White, such as rock stars Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney and actor Jack Nicholson.

Weinstein's chief attorney, Arthur Aidala, insisted from the retrial that his client's sexual intercourse with the plaintiff was a “deal” and “consent.”
