Meta Forecast, by 2035

Meta made a forecast last year that its AI products will generate revenues of $2 billion to $3 billion in 2025 and between $460 billion and $1.4 trillion by 2035, according to unsealed court documents.

The documents were filed by the authors of the book submitted by lawyers, asking them to claim that they claimed that they were training the company’s AI without authorization to work on, and please do not indicate that Meta exactly believes it is “generating AI products.” However, the public knows that the tech giant makes money (and has the ability to make more money) from the generation AI of multiple flavors.

META has reached a revenue sharing agreement with certain companies that have an open llama model collection. The company recently launched an API for customizing and evaluating llama models. CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a quarterly earnings call on Wednesday that the company’s AI assistant, Meta AI, may eventually display ads and offer subscription options for other features.

Court documents also show that Meta is spending a lot on its AI product group.

According to the document, in 2024, the company's “Genai” budget exceeds $900 million, and this year's budget may exceed $1 billion. This does not include the infrastructure required to run and train AI models. Meta had previously said it plans to spend $60 billion to $80 billion on capital expenditures in 2025, mainly on a wide range of new data centers.

These budgets may be higher if these budgets include transactions that file a license for authors of the meta. Meta, for example, discussed training data for over $200 million in 2023 to acquire camels, and according to the documents, about $100 million will be used separately for books. But the company allegedly decided to take another option: mass pirated e-books.
