JB Pritzker begs Democrats to fight Trump as potential candidates visit New Hampshire in 2028

Manchester, NH – Illinois Governor JB Pritzker ordered a stage on Sunday's hopeful stage and begged Democrats to force their resistance to the Trump administration while sending his party leaders in his own party for too long.

When Pritzker condemned President Donald Trump in his speech to New Hampshire Democrats, he also accused Democratic politicians of embracing a “culture of progressiveism” that led to the party being swept by Republicans who are working on an agenda opposite to the left-wing value system.

“It's time for a fight,” Prizk said. “Let's start with something that should be easy to say: It's wrong to take a man out of the street and transport it to a foreign gulag without a chance to defend himself in court.”

In an interview, Pritzker beat the notion that he was considering running for president, saying he has not yet decided whether he would serve as governor for the third term in Illinois.

But he has long been seen as a member of the short list of 2028 competitors, and as a billionaire who has had a self-raised political campaign in the past, he could easily launch a campaign. In the years leading up to the campaign, a congressional dinner in New Hampshire was a traditional stop for potential presidential candidates.

He has also been an early and consistent voice against Trump. In his national speech this year, Pritzker warned the government's actions, saying: “If you think I'm overreacting and making a sound that is too early to alert, think about it: it took one month, three weeks, two weeks, two days, eight hours, eight hours and 40 minutes to demolish the Constitutional Republic.”

New Hampshire has long been the first international major The country in the Democratic Presidential Competition. The change has occurred under President Joe Biden in 2024, but Democratic leaders say they will likely revamp the calendar again by 2028.

Pritzker said in his speech that Democrats should blame “lack of courage and effort” in November, rather than partisan defense of blacks, trans children and immigrants.

“Last November, Democrats didn't want us to fight for our values, but because they thought we didn't want us to fight for our values,” he said.

He also shot other Democrats’ “podcasts” without picking anyone out. California Gov. Gavin Newsom recently launched his own podcast that caused some controversy within the party.

“I feel ironic about the current conversation around our party, that is, voices flock to podcasts and cable news shows to warn Democrats of insufficient struggles with working families, and those people are the same people, and when it comes to making up for the struggles of real people, it is timid and not bold.”
