Cody Simon checks all boxes Arizona Cardinals
Strong emphasis on the Arizona Cardinals defense, continuing to join guard Cody Simon on Saturday morning
On Saturday morning, the Arizona Cardinals’ defense was highly valued, and he ranked 13th in the fourth round of the draft (115th draft pick).
What continues is the high character and intelligence spells advocated by the Cardinal, which is crucial to Mike's live competition on defense.
Simon graduated three academic all-around ten times in December 2023 and received a degree in finance. Currently, he is studying for a master's degree in human development and family services.
Last season, Ohio State's captain had 112 tackles, with losses of 12.5, 7.0 sacks and seven passes to defend. He is the defensive MVP in the Rose Bowl and College Football Championship. Simon is described as the “the guy of the ultimate team” and has not been punished in 1,861 careers.
After the draft, we can expect head coach Jonathan Gannon and general manager Monti Ossenfort to be happy with Simon's characteristics.
Athlete evaluator Dane Brugler called Simon a “selfless person” whose “personal role is not on the chart.”
Jim Knowles, a former Ohio State defensive coordinator, once said: “Cody is the future president of the United States.”
These genes are also very strong. His father Mike joined the army and competed on the Rugby Team while his mother Amy ran in Michigan. She is now managing director of Morgan Stanley and the first black woman to be appointed Managing Director of Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch.
Simon was asked about his work last season and said: “I think all of this is about timing, it's about preparing and learning the weaknesses of certain crimes. I think I found there were some tricks last season that could be to quarterback last season, and it was just aggressive and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and fast and Violencethis is indeed a great recipe. ”
Simon described his best attributes, saying, “As a defender, you need to have great intuition, which I think is my biggest advantage. Having great intuition and being able to be good. Being a great leader and communicator is essential to a good defense. If your center linebacker can have it, you can have a good center linebacker.”
He will now learn new defense and compete with free agents Akeem Davis-Gaither and Mykal Walker. Simon was not worried.
“I think I can play a role in any possible scenario,” he said. “I like being a learner, I can learn and really prepare for the best of me.
Simon said he had a lot of conversations with new guard coach Cristian Garcia, who is doing some drills.
“We actually had a good relationship back then. Then we did some interviews on Zoom. It was a really good relationship from the perspective I can say. He sounded like a great coach and I'm so happy to be on the system.”
